My wife found this really fun tour to do in Prague, and the price is good as well. After you go through the museum portion of the self-guided tour you get to the very fun stuff. This is the underground bar where it is broken out into various time-periods in Prague’s history. You get to try a couple different beers on the tour that range from light to dark. I loved learning more about the beer making process, as it was different than any brew tour that I have been on thus far. If you enjoy beer than you need to check this out. After we finished everything we got to bottle our own beer to open at another time. Twas very fun and worth the money.

First it is an auto guide Museum. Unfortunately, there is no one who explains the process or the types of beer. The museum contains some interesting texts and examples of ingredients but is rather small and I was missing a better explanation of the differences between beer types. In the price are 4 beers included (0.2L), which is kind of nice, but that is no really a \tasting experience\. The price is also high for 4 tiny beers and the Auto-Guide tour. We paid extra for bottling our own beer which is a nice idea and takeaway. But we thought that we could maybe choose between different designs for the bottle stickers which we could not. Also the bottling is a 30 second explanation and the closing has to be done with a damaged lever which makes is hard to close the bottle. We were expecting a bit more for the price.
Great place to visit. The liter of beer to taste at the end already pays for the ticket itself! Besides large collections of beer and the process of brewing, the museum also dedicated one room to beer in the Czech Republic with information and figures detailing its importance in the country. There is even a station where one can bottle their own beer to take back! Unfortunately, the second half of their museum is a little dilapidated and in need of some improvement, because I did not get to learn as much about brewing as I had hoped.
Tiny and not so interesting. Was expecting a bit more as the Czech Republic has such a great beer history and culture. However, selection of four different beers at the very end was nice.
A great visit if you enjoy beer, very fun and factual and the tasting at the end was just as good. I would certainly recommend to a friend.
We've had a very good beer tasting here... Although we got here pretty late at around 6 pm we didn't had enough time to visit the museum and enjoy the 4 sample's. We really need another hour at least :). We got to bottle our own beer, and we took a nice memory with us back home ! Cheers !
Fun place to visit and a great value as well. Sample some beer, and enjoy the collections and scenes. I highly recommend this.
Museum is very nice, but when it comes to beer tasting; the staff is very rude. It was closing at 20.00 but they started to tidy up place and their attitude was like “go away” type. And it was only 19.20, they had 40 min until closing time. Beer was good but staff kills the mood.
