We had a lot of food here. It was all good. The best food was the fish soup and strudel. I can reccomend those. The mussels were good as well, but there was not a lot of food there. My girlfriend was here a couple of times, and she loves it. The staff speaks English. \u200d

Nice find. Huge portions of food, well prepared. The building itself is quite simple, doesn't prepare you for the very decent meal inside. I ordered medium rare steak. The medium well done steak was juicy though and very tasty.
Probably best choice to eat in this area but it doesn't mean there are nothing to do better. Some food is good prepared a really tasty but some is nothing special and average person can do better at home. This restaurant would be just average restaurant in the downtown of Brno.

On my recent visit, the place seemed to have gone down overall. Some staff used 'cafeteria-style' approach to customers (bordering on discourteous, abrupt and without smile), quality of food was down (eg. chicken schnitzel undercooked, potato salad watery and too sweet), prices of some popular items up quite a bit. And they are still keeping the annoying cover (couvert) charge.. Hoping against all hope that this has been a one-time thing, as I used to like coming here..
