This was our third trip to Brno. We stayed for two days this time and we were a bit underwhelmed with the food. Kafec was our best meal this trip. It's a small breakfast café with good food, coffee, and tea. The service was extremely good. We had the Royal Breakfast, a side of fried eggs, and a waffle with some toppings. The waffle wasn't hot but still delicious. The ordering style is unique - you're given a plastic-coated menu with markers and you simply mark the items you want. Great idea. Cost was a bit high but overall you're getting more for your money and it's more quiet than the busy areas. If you're willing to spend a bit more, come here. Kavec is a bit hidden if you're looking for it. It's not located on a street, rather it's tucked in the middle of a building at street level with a nice courtyard.

Quite expensive for a breakfast. After a while I had time to go for breakfast here. Coffee was good and menu is like in supermarket ... You actually choosing each ingredient for breakfast. Hungry you choose nice portion and end up with breakfast which is nice but cost same as 400g prime steak with all the side dish. So on one side I was very satisfied as the breakfast was great (do not expect refill of coffee like in US) so price of 21 in CR is quite surprising... For big coffee I would say is not better place around.
Wonderful coffee, super tasty waffles, and sweet staff. Not my first time there, definitely not the last one. Highly recommended for sure.
If not the best brunch in Brno then one of the best! I’ve visited this place couples of times and I always leave satisfied. Homemade bread, fresh eggs and a good variety of coffee would make your day. Highly recommend to visit Kafec. Bare in mind that they serve brunch until 1pm
Very nice and cosy place, a bit hidden but definitely worth to discover. Big breakfast/brunch menu, you can order your own choices by tick in the menu card on your table. The staff was professional and friendly. I have ordered porridge and coffee, both were delicious. I would like to recommend this lovely place to all of you. Thank you very much Brno for great place like this!
Definitely among top breakfast & brunch places in town..super friendly service, good capacity, epic food (seriously epic) and not bad waiting times. Will come back. Often PS. Breakfast of champions on the pic here
Came here for breakfast during weekdays. Lots of choices for breakfast. Price are reasonable i suppose for a place right in the heart of Brno. Service are ok too. They have menu in english.I ordered their herbs hotdog and croissants which was super fresh and yummy. But their flat white come in a very small glass which cost around i think 70kc if am not wrong
Lovely place, English friendly! Beautiful place to enjoy best gluten-free waffles in the town. Every month special offer and tasty coffee you can buy yourself also for your use. They offer to become a vlub member to get better price on coffee.
