First things first: I cannot tell you about the dogs of the kennel itself. I never purchased a dog – I made a reservation and I cancelled the reservation for the reasons I would like to state here. The only good thing I can say about that process is that I got back my reservation fee without any complications. Maybe you are like me and you have been thinking about getting a dog for a while now, preparing a nice nest for your new family member. Maybe you have done your research and you are looking for a nice, professional kennel with a responsible breeder that answers all the questions that you might have. In that case, I highly recommend you get the dog from somewhere (and someone) else. The months from making a reservation for a puppy to the point when the puppy should somehow find the way to me, where the worst by far. I was in contact with the whole family behind this kennel because while I made my reservation – and this is important – ownership of the kennel was transferred from the daughter, Sofa, to the parents. While Sofa seems to be a decent person, communication with her parents went south incredibly fast. Everything was vague, no concrete information was given, and the tone changed often between neutral and hostile. An example out of many: We set a date on which the owner wanted to drive in my direction and gave me the number of his wife in case he wouldn’t contact me. He didn’t, so I wrote a message to his wife. She called me a liar and said that her husband never said he would arrive on that date. I forwarded his message to her in which he made clear when he wanted to arrive, and she threatened to block me. After a few incidents of this kind, I cancelled my reservation. Apart from the things I experienced, there are several entries on the internet about the kennel that might interest you.
