Well, the restaurant does look really good. However, the service was lacking that high up parade. The men of our group got their menus before all the women. The same goes for drinks. I know, it is way more difficult to serve the drinks by the social code than the menus. But, this isn't a cheap restaurant. I had the beef burger for dinner. The execution looked awesome. The taste was somewhere else. The beef was rather drier while everything else was soaked in oil. I got an egg, which was available only with the order. I didn't order the egg. The cheese claimed to to be cheddar was not cheddar. I definitely was not happy with the service and food for the prices they are charging. And the chips...oh boy, I had one fry and I was soaked in oil for the whole upcoming weekend.

Good place. It was suspiciously empty when we were there. Delicious food, but prices are more Prague like than what you'd expect you get in a small city
Pleasantly surprised by the food and staff at this newly opened restaurant. It’s modern-if this is your thing, home made lemonade was one of the best I had, but the smoked duck salad was so good I’m taking 2 as a takeout. Whoever gave this place one star because was too lazy to make a reservation, reserves to be reported for leaving off topic review. I had very good experience here and they deserve a review to match their efforts.
The food was great, service really friendly although a bit slow. We waited 30 minutes between our starter and main course. But then again we were in no rush, so no problem...
Everytime we visit Hradec Kralove we come here. Nice, quiet atmosphere, very good service, good English spoken, tasty food and beer.
It is quite expensive place but interior is cozy and service is posh.

Much recommended. We went three times in the week. The restaurant is quieter and more sophisticated than the pasta cook in the same set of buildings. Menu is Czech based but with a lighter touch. Has vegetarian options. Beer is made on the premises but restaurant serves limited range of wine by the glass, like most Czech restaurants. Wine is acceptable standard. Food is well cooked and service is good.
