Good for kids
Absolutely amazing. Booked a one night stay in the castle for me and my daughter - and it was awesome. Our room was gorgeous, and we were free to walk in the castle, day and night, as we wanted. Congrats to the owner for all the hard work and for saving this place! The restaurant was really nice, the park was great, and mainly the stuff - the always smiling ladies who took care of cleaning the castle, we loved talking to them, the restaurant which bought for me gluten free bread, the keeper, everyone was willing to talk and laugh with us. You will love the atmosphere there!

Nice place , still needs a lot of work on the ground floor , the first floor has much to see , family friendly place, and beautiful things to see..
Mind blowing experience - walking through a castle alone, admiring all the history. Comfortable room with authentic furniture. Fantastic breakfast in a castle restaurant. Definitely something to do again.

We spent a night there and it was great! It has been through many changes the past few years but now it is really remarkable inside. My wife and I recommend it!
Looks great outside. Very prominent. But inside it was a great disappointment and had I known about the multitude of unfinished store rooms for a ragtag collection of old stuff (referred to as antiques) I would have saved my money. Having said that, I admire the determination of the owner to reinstate the house
