Good for kids
1,491.5 metres is the highest mountain of Hrubý Jeseník mountains - Moravia and is fifth-highest mountain of Czech Republic The average annual temperature is about 1C. Hmmm...but in winter can be -20C. A television transmitter is situated on the top, 162 m high. The upper platform is used as a watchtower. The mountain is also a popular area for skiing and snowboarding.. The transmitter was built between 1968 and 1983. A restaurant is located in the building and can be reached by a paved road. The High Tatras, Malá Fatra Mts. and Alps can be seen from the watchtower platform. Beautiful place.

Great weather. Wide path enought for both walking and cross country ski from Ovcarna to Praded. Due to spring holidays crowded. All 3 buses from Hvezda parking to Ovcarna was full. Parking also full.Go there early so you aviod the crawd. You can walk up to Ovcarna on the road. Lot of takeaways on the way to the top.
Staff excellent, and the food was good. Very busy so must be good. I enjoyed the meal.
Jeseniky mountains are just awesome
Super relax
Not bad, but not that much of a difference from the foot of the tower. The mountain itself is worth seeing for sure.
