Such a cool place. Phototipp: 1. Stand next to the statue and lift your foot. With the right angel it looks like you kick the dent into that house. 2. Try some long Exposure with the trams at night. Looks awesome

Gorgeous place. It’s a very interesting contrast with the rest of the old very old and very gothic city. I really enjoyed seeing this peace of modern and bit crazy art peace next to the river. Is a very nice place to take a good picture of your visit to Prague. I didn’t enter but I understand that there is a café on the top with some nice views of the city as well. There are multiple tram lines passing next to it. Pictures of the tram with the dancing house are also very cool views to get. M
Buy a drink at the top and enter for free. It's a good place to visit in summer. Expect a lot of crowd. Has best view of the castle and the river. Sometimes wait goes upto an hour. Would suggest to come late evening for best views and some quite. Men at bar speak good English. They accept cards as well.
What a fabulous place! Enjoy a walk here along the river then back through the streets when you leave. The views at the top are worth the visit. It will cost you a couple of drinks. There's a lift to the top floor then a short flight of stairs to the viewing area. Sit, look, take some pics and chill - well worth the effort
Say what you you want about it, but it evokes a reaction for sure, and that is what art is all about, imo.
This is an interesting building near the river. You can see many people in here while they are taking photos.
Looks nice on the photo but missed it passing buy. Needs a bit upkeep. The bar on the top is great.
The Dancing House has been called inappropriate in the classical city of Prague. The style, shape, heavy asymmetry, and material were seen as out of place. The non-traditional design was controversial at the time because the house stands out among the Baroque, Gothic and Art Nouveau buildings for which Prague is famous. The style is known as deconstructivist architecture due to its unusual shape. The \dancing\ shape is supported by 99 concrete panels, each a different shape and dimension. On the top of the building is a large twisted structure of metal nicknamed Mary. The general shape of the building is now featured on a gold 2,000 Czech koruna coin issued by the Czech National Bank. The Dancing House won Time Magazine's design contest in 1997. The Dancing House was also named one of the 5 most important buildings in the 1990s by Architekt Magazine.
