It is interesting and eye opening experience. It will make you recognize the struggles of sight impaired. Some of their stories will make you think it could happen to you as well. It is amazing to learn how easily they move in complete darkness whereas you are barely able to make a step. Definitely recommend! Go visit even twice or more!

We only stumbled across this exhibition on Google by chance when we were in Prague. It certainly deserves a visit. What caught our attention as we were looking for places that were interesting and child-friendly, were the review numbers for this place - take a look at the number of reviews and the star rating! You are best to visit or contact the exhibit within a few days of your target visit as they are usually booked in advance - only small groups can go through at a time, and tours are language specific. As a traveling family this is the kind for thing that has us talking for a few days afterewards. We kept it as a surprise for our child, to make it a bit more exciting! We didn’t know much about it besides that we wouldn’t see much! The experience was excellent and the staff were genuine and helpful. The price was very reasonable for a family, and the location is fairly central in Prague. All we will say is that you will learn a lot about yourself, trust, uncertainty, the challenges faced of the vision-impaired, and what you don’t pay attention to! Have fun!

This is a kind of entering the world of living in the dark. I definitely recommend it to try and experience the movement and ability to recognize in the very black dark. You get better understanding to blind people needs and your help to them. This is a kind of guided (carefully and with respect) tour through several rooms where different environment is being simulated. The guide is one of the blind people, mostly young one, giving the tour in a humorous way. You can even get a drink at a bar in the dark at the end of the tour. While waiting for its beginning, or after that you can educate yourself with some facts and try special things there.

Pictures of this exhibition don't really make sense because the bulk of the experience, and the most essential part, is done in the dark. A guide leads you and your group through a series of rooms to give you a taste of what it is like to navigate the world without any sense of sight. You can (politely) ask questions and learn even more -- we learned about cooking and teaching, as our guide does both in her life. There is a small room that's lit and has information and games available for sighted people, in Czech and in English. You can request a guide in other languages as well. Highly recommended.

This was the best thing we did during our four day stay in Prague. It felt as if we had shared something incredible together even though we never met before we went in. After the various activities inside we sat and talked with the guide in complete darkness for about fifteen minutes, which was even more interesting than everything we had just done. A very funny, surprising and potentially transformative experience. High money value. Very highly recommended, without a doubt.
