A great shop overall. I got a pretty good deal there and the service was great and forthcoming. I'm not really sure what are all those negative reviews about.
A bit cold and distant approach to me as a customer but the place definitly worth the visit if you are into photography its full of treasures items and the money spend on the devices really worth it.
I came to look for vintage leans, the service is very bad. No communication in English, You can't see the leans in the cabinet. Feels like they don't really want costumes. You can go the the other camera store on the same street for better service.
Arrogant horrible place. Looks like a hoarder's living room, and the staff is extremely \slow\ (if you catch my drift....) This is Prague's equivalent of Berghain. Except there's no music.
For me it seems that there are many arrogant and narrow-headed people saying their opinions about this shop. This is one of the best shops for photography I've ever seen. If you want digital, then go to FotoSkoda. Pazdera Jan has the best working and looking cameras and the best prices I have ever seen and everytime I am visiting Prague I am also visiting Pazdera Jan. And yes, the staff are two older people and a younger woman. It's not fair to blame the older people for their behaviour and the younger woman speaks very good English and is very friendly and she immediately gave me a Pentacon Six I wanted to test and buy and showed me everything about the camera. So if you want to see some very good, old, but also working cameras and buy them for a really good price, then visit Pazdera Jan.
Very bad sales ethics. Another client has taken from our hands a camera that we were going to buy, and as if it were a bid, she said \I'm taking this one\ and to our amazement, they sold it to her. No ethical sale. If a client is viewing a product, the minimum is to ask beforehand if he is interested or not, in order to show it to another client. It is supposed to be a serious store, and not a flea market or a shopping mall on sales season. Very bad. Poor service in customer service.
Very unfriendly stuff, not possible to directly see their offers from 50 meters away from the counter. I still don't understand the purpose of this place.
