Nice local place to taste or have a great beer, and more than one, and eat something. The cuisine is not extraordinary, but is good, tasty and fresh. Maybe I didn't like the dressings. Who knows. The place is simple, quite rustic in its decor but really spacious. Service is fast and professional. Overall a nice experience.

A good place to stop for lunch, with decent food and reasonable prices considering the location. Disappointed to not have the tasting set of beer (only 3/4 beers were available and a faster thinking server would’ve just offered to double up on the missing one), but a single beer was nice enough (if the wrong one). Garden a touch overrated by the management (who are interviewed in the menu and some of their answers are funny to read), but good to sit outside regardless.

The chips pictured on the menu look great! They're nicely-seasoned, well-done, crispy, and so on. The real chips were flavorless, under-done, and dry. When I brought it up with the server, he gave me an attitude and told me they're the same. When I pointed out the differences, he asked if he just wanted me to add some greens. To his credit, after arguing back and forth for a while, he finally offered to take it back and not charge us.

Big traditional Czech pub, with a summer garden in the back, in the center of town. Cold beer, good food, decent service. Can't really ask for more. I had a salad which was better than most pub salads I've had. Go.

I came across this place accidentally. They have a microbrewery that lured me in. I tried the Czech lion 13 a dark unfiltered beer. The first one didn't give me the bitter hit, so I had an traditional Czech strudel with whipped cream. The next beer hit the spot. The menu seems reasonable, and features good Czech cuisine. Prices are a bit on the steep side, but it's a nice. The guy serving me was great, though his English wasn't great, both of us seemed to communicate well. They look after you, keep eye contact and come and check on you from time to time. There is a section in the menu about some of these ones who started the place. I have added a pic of one of the bar tenders testimony, and it is hilarious. The toilets are really clean and well maintained. They have an open kitchen so you can see the food being cooked. I originally gave this place 4 stars. But I changed it to 5.

Brilliant find and amazing food and beer! This establishment close to the River in the centre of Prague was a great find. It was initially going to be a quick stop for a drink but with fantastic beer and food it is definately somewhere we are coming back to. Plenty of locals in which is a sign of a decent place and genuine honest trade with no scamming. A safe bet and a destination rather than a stop off!!

Decent place. The garden area was relaxed. A shame they didn’t do the tasting because they didn’t have the 4th “special beer” available. Wish they would still do the tasting with their 3 main beers.
