A decent starter if you have never tried Czech foods before but it wasn't mind-blowing. An average place, lots of seating. The waiter wasn't rude, but he wasn't friendly either. Tip: Sour cream means whipped cream. Overall, if you have a short time to visit the city, don't bother. But if you just need some casual place to eat, you definitely will get full. Portions are huge. 4 adults got big meals and beers for under 60 euro.

I went with my friend who is on a gluten free diet who had researched and sought out suitable restaurants. I ate from the regular menu and had a lager, the garlic soup for starters and the goulash pot a la Lieutenant Lukas - all fantastic but the serving size was huge and could have fed three!! The goulash came with what I think was fresh horseradish, onions, cheese and three types of dumplings. The two waiters had great English and able to answer all questions. Clean bathrooms. Only negative points were when it came to paying - were charged 50 for tap water, which was more expensive than the bottled sparkling water, but as the waiter correctly pointed out, it was listed so on the menu - though we didn’t have the menu when it was requested and the charge wasn’t pointed out at this stage. After having tap water for free at all other establishments in Prague at this stage in our trip, not a welcome surprise. We’d have ordered bottled sparkling water again if we’d known. Also the card machine was down, and this was only made known when we went to pay. Both the website and the door showed that cards were accepted. It would have been nice to know this earlier, rather than having one of us search 25m for an ATM at the end of the meal. I’d still go back, and recommend it to others, but some simple upfront advice from the staff would improve the rating.
Love this place, very nice staff. Would love to go back for sure. The mixed grill we ordered is very tasty, the fries are a bit salty. Dear owner, is that possible to buy a beer stein/mug from your restaurant? I love the design :)
This is hands down one of the best restaurants I have ever seen. I ended up returning the next day again. The ribs were perfect, and I have very high standards for ribs. The side dishes were also extraordinary, I have never seen cabbage prepared so deliciously. Discovered it because of the gluten free menu, had no problems. Even GF beer! The staff was great. If you are coming for dinner, it will be hard without a reservation.
Great place. This is the first time we have been to a place with such a variety of gluten free meals. You can eat goulash, steak in gluten free breadcrumbs, gluten free knedliczki and have a beer.
The portions are made for Arnie and Stallone. The roast duck was cooked well and had delicious gravy. Pork neck also melts in your mouth. Glad they had gluten free potato dumplings. They also had gluten free Apple strudel but the pastry was either not baked through or was made of rubber. Service was a bit ignorant.
The staff was so so helpful and kind. Plus its maybe the only traditional czech restaurant offering a FULL gluten free menu (bezlepkové). Plenty of veggie options too. Vegan options are scarce but could be worked out maybe? Absolutely get the fruit dumplings, but please share them (or eat the leftovers for breakfast the next day like I did)
Food is great, most importantly they have Kofola, which I consider as a standard. Interior is very nice with Lada's artwork. Only disadvantage is that it's a small place, so when everyone talks it gets very loud. Anyway thanks for a good food.
