Great arena for ice hockey. Was here for the World Juniors in 2019/2020 and it was awesome. Good beer and nice staff!

I highly recommend visitors and tourists to experience a hockey game at the Ostravar Arena. Atmosphere is great thanks to the fans cheering all game long. Even if you are not a big hockey fan, you will have a good time and time flies by pretty fast. Last but not least : Czech food and beer await you during breaks.
Seating was fabulous. Beer and food was very reasonable compared to UK and NA, but the process to get people in and out between games was a disaster. The Czech fans were fabulous to socialize with during the 2020 World Juniors hockey and for the Canadians boys to take home the Gold just made it an outstanding visit.
Very large and nice sports arena. One of the best you can find in the Czech Republic. The tennis matches were great to watch there, but the green surface made it a bit hard to follow the ball.

The Ostrava arena is big, near to city center. More that 5,000 people can seat here. It's my guess. It maybe more or less. Cleaning and maintenance with new modern decoration is needed. It looks classic, so it would be better if refined with modern technology.
We were there for the Fed Cup game between the Czech Republic and Romania and it was great.
Food and drink very difficult to obtain at the start of the tournament, but they got it together and did very well.
