Excellent service. Pubs, clean restrooms, perfect information services, nice staff. Really good station.

A modern, clean urban hub that has no defect at all. It is a beautiful building offering all necessary services that has more trains than the main station. You have to walk a while to the trams and most buses, but some stop in front of the station, so you can transfer.

Nicely designed station combining the modern approach with the historic building. Plenty o space for waiting with almost always open counters to buy tickets or get an information. Easy access for further commuting in Ostrava.

Nice newly designed station but with a stupid departure board system. When multiple delays pile up (as they often do), the boards only show these and not any other on-time trains that are departing in the next few minutes. Can make for a very stressful connection.

Very pleasant train station with short lines for the ticket counters, which seem to all be always open. A real shock if you are coming from the north, from Poland, with long lines to the few open ticket counters. I mean, at Katowice station I managed to buy a ticket in 15 minutes and people said that was great time (2 open counters, long line). In Ostrava Svinov it took me 30 seconds (5 counters open for the state rail and two more for private railways)
