Zelený bod was founded in 1991 The basis of the eco-center's work are educational, pedagogical and educational activities designed to increase the population of the Ostrava region's environmental awareness and promote the ideals of co-responsibility of each of us for the present and future state of our environment. Our activity consists of rather non-traditional forms of transmission of environmental information and environmental education popularization. We try not only organize lectures, but most of all also give space for debate and discussions, make young people think about the topic. Typically the whole family are invited to joint action. Nowadays we participated in a film festival with ecological topics EKOFILM. Zelený bod comprises 4 active members and numerous volunteers and helpers.
