One of the biggest Zoos in CZ. You can walk there 10kms and enjoy space and many species. Part of the Zoo is also botanical garden. Amount of flowers is even more incredible than for animals. Yhere are thousands of name tags also well sorted to the geographical areas around whole world. And finally there is also a Dino park for kids with a big playground field for kids of all age. So you can spend there whole day with whole family.

An exceptional zoo, not only for the huge diversity of wildlife present here, but also for the care and dedication of the staff. The animals have vast spaces to roam in. It's a great place to vome with children as there are many playgrounds and other facilities.

A very nice ZOO. Its a but hilly so be ready for some hill climbing. Its a very great place for kids and mini ZOO where they can pet some animals. One can easily spend a whole day there. There is an option to rent a stroller for free which is an amazing feature. Food possibilities are a bit poor and pricey.
Beautiful zoo with a large number of animals on display. Also shows several livestock animals such as sheep, goats, etc. Part of the Zoo is Dinopark with models of dinosaurs. One section also tells the history of people who lived in the area, with modeled huts, beehives and other objects, which is very interesting. It's also the only Zoo to have a WWII tank on display :)
Lots of exhibits. Good price for a family. I don't speak Czech but had no issues navigating, communicating, and enjoying myself. The kids loved how \up close\ some of the exhibits were. I'm definitely going back.
Such a cool place for kids. I truly recommend also Dino Park, my little guy was over the top happy with the dinosaurs. Lots of places to stop, have something to eat, great food all over the place, great place to visit with kids and not just for them. Parking is very close, for just 50 czk per day you can have the car parked close by.
Entrance fees to high. Did not see (we should have) Tiger, Hypo, and other mammals... Lot of birds, mostly not interesting, you can see them in nature around. For lot of species only one animal, which can be hidden somewhere and you can not find it. There is no clear path to get around the zoo, all the visitors are hitting each other around. Focus on plants, although this is not a botanical garden. Lot of fast food restaurants and the whole zoo smells like frying oil. Dissapointed. If you are coming to Plzen mostly for the Zoo, save the trip...
