Green Horizon Renewables (GHR) is a Prague based Private Equity firm focused on investments in renewable energy across Europe. GHR is a part of a group of family office PE firms including BHM Group (High-tech industry PE) and Verdi Capital (Asset management and PE), and utilizes the expertise of the larger team. Established in 2015, GHR has made several investments and holds a 55MW+ portfolio of solar and wind assets in Central and Eastern Europe. Recently, GHR has acquired a major share in Winda Power Oy (https://www.windapower.com), a leading developer of wind farms in Finland, and is in process of developing a portfolio of 240 MW wind farms, with an ultimate goal of developing, constructing, and operating assets throughout the Nordic countries. As a financial and opportunistic investor, GHR is seeking to expand further in the western markets and to partner with local players to create added value investments for its shareholders.
