Church of St. Roch Saint Roch is “epidemic protector”. St. Roch Church was built by order of Rudolph II in gratitude for saving the Czech Republic from plague. The first stone was laid in 1603. There is a story about the closure of the temple. A peasant brought his sick cow to Saint Roch to ask for her recovery. But the cow died right on the threshold of the holy place, desecrating it. The church was closed, and later by order of Joseph II it was destroyed. In 19th century, the church was rebuilt in old Renaissance style with Gothic elements. Now there are no church services. Here is the private gallery Miro. Церковь Святого Роха Святой Рох – это защитник от эпидемий. Церковь Святого Роха (kostel sv. Rocha) была построена по приказу Рудольфа II в благодарность за спасение Чехии от чумы. Первый камень был заложен в 1603 году. О прекращении деятельности храма существует история. У крестьянина заболела корова. Он решил отвести ее к святому Роху и попросить о выздоровлении своей кормилицы. Но корова скончалась прямо на пороге святого места, тем самым его осквернив. Церковь пришлось закрыть, а позже по приказу Иосифа II и разрушить. В XIX веке костел отстроили заново по образу старого в стиле ренессанс с готическими элементами. Ныне службы в нем не проходят. Здесь находится частная галерея Миро (Galerie Miro).
