I would like to thank the Embassy, for the special care that they have provided to me. I had visa issues and I needed to travel to SA, they were very understanding and helpful. Special thank you to Ms. Dipuo , Michaela and Stefania.

I am living in Canada and my daughter was born in Pretoria. She is trying to get an information from SA embassy in Toronto. No reply at all. As I am Czech citizen, I was hoping the service in Prague would be better. Sweet dreams.

My husband and I are both South African citizens working in the Czech Republic. We had our first child in 2018 and submitted his birth registration, application for birth certificate and passport in October 2018 at the embassy. To date, DHA in SA has not received our paperwork and have urged us to contact our South African Embassy in Prague to locate the documentation. We have been trying to contact them for a month now regarding the lost paperwork and they have yet to respond with a solution. We spoke personally with one of the consulates and they was non-apologetic about not responding to any of our initial mails and unsympathetic towards our situation, insinuating that it is out of their hands, even though they were responsible for submitting the documents. We are literally stuck in the Czech Republic until we have our son’s paperwork so that we can apply for his visa to come home. He is almost 6 months old and has met none of our family. We’ve always voted, defended our country and shown pride whenever people ask us about home. However, when you don’t even have local consulates on your side when it comes to getting your son home, it paints a very dark picture of a beautiful country.

Já pro Velvyslanectví pracuji. Ale vím, že pracovnice na vízovém oddělení se všemožně snaží lidem v nesnázích vyhovět a ve většině případů se jim to daří.
