Stumbled across this place with my girlfriend. Was pleasantly surprised by the very decent food (for a great price as well) and the drinks were quite good too. Atmosphere was also very nice and the place must be a great choice, if you plan on playing tennis and having some food afterwards.

A great place for a lunch on a terrace. Large outside sitting area, excellent location - great pond, cycle and pedestrian paths. The staff is friendly and helpful. Food is served as a partly self-service bufet with reasonable choice of Chech meals, salads, drinks... All you need for kids and sports.

Pros: It's super cheap. You can get your racket strings fixed there in a few minutes. Cons: Don't buy squash balls there, they are overpriced and I'd expect more stuff being overpriced as well. I can't believe how good the reviews are. Squash in the winter during evening and weekend hours is stupidly cold. There's no polite way to say this. Whenever I have to go up to tell the reception desk that we're freezing they always act surprised. And there's no way around it even if you wear thermal clothing like my friend. Her nose is immediately red and running and her ears are freezing off. My ears hurt as well and my arms are super cold. I've overheard an arguement about cold at the tennis courts as well. Same story, same othing\ as a result. And the air vents are somehow connected to the restaurant above and they bring all the fun smells right to your nose. So fairly often you end up playing squash while smelling onions, steaks or whatever they are cooking. Sometimes it's hard to breathe and other times it's super hard to focus on squash while you get more and more hungry 'cause of the smell. Changing rooms for beach volleyball and tennis are filthy. There's a lot of sand all over the floor. But you can expect people to yell at you when you don't take your shoes off before entering... like seriously, take your shoes off and enjoy all the dirt on your socks, makes sense. The other changing room is much cleaner. Squash courts are pretty filthy as well (check your shoes after an hour of squash) or check your ball after a few hits. Just a fun fact - whenever I smelled the water from the cleaning buckets that are used to clean the floors it smelled like sewage. That's unusual even for really dirty places. Oh yeah and no A/C so during summer it's super hot the smell of the food on squash courts is way more pronounced.
