This was an exquisite dinning experience. I have been to restaurant Mist around the start of the pandemic. While many restaurants found it difficult to accommodate to this situation by for example having more space between the tables than usual, the owner of Mist took a lot of care for making the dining experience as ‘corona-proof’ as possible. In terms of the dining experience, one the most enjoyable moments at Mist was the serving of green tea. Mist has a great assortment of green teas and the owner is more than happy to explain the menu choices. As with the actual dishes, the selection had an interesting explanation and background story. When the tea was served, this was an interesting experience as well as the owner demonstrated serving techniques and skills (e.g. timing and pouring). The dinner itself was on the same level with regards to the taste, quality and serving. Every taste seemed very fine-tuned and focussed on the taste the dish was supposed to bring out. Lastly, the owner was very polite, friendly and impressed me with his knowledge and reasoning for his dishes. He was very interested in my stories and really took the time to actively listen instead of just having regular chit-chat. I certainly enjoyed this. In conclusion: I’ve been to quite some vegan restaurants in Prague but Mist definitely soars to the top of my list and will be the first restaurant I will visit again when I’m in Prague.

We ate at Mist for the first time 2 weeks ago and went back quickly after... what an incredible place! The chef/owner cooks and prepares everything fresh daily. Food is of the highest quality, with amazing traditional Asian flavours and ingredients, and incredible attention to detail. And he is an equally lovely person, very warm and shared a great conversation with us! Not to mention that the furnishings, decor, and tableware are also carefully chosen and beautiful... it’s a heartwarming experience to eat there! We had tofu a la Bektour... tofu in a really delicious sauce served with high quality wild rice... and also the wonton soup, which is a special event. The wontons were freshly made from scratch, the mushrooms so tasty! The second time we had some fried udon noodles... also super fantastic, freshly made noodles, great mushrooms and flavours... and tried the ramen soup as well... nothing but good things to say. He serves high quality organic tea, brewed traditionally and with great care. This place deserves to be kept alive, it’s precious! If you can, go ASAP... you’ll love it!
I am so grateful to have discovered this place. The energy is so positive that it just resonates with you. The food was also too notch. I felt the flavor of every ingredient. Like it was there for a reason. I now have a great appreciation for vegan food. People support this restaurant during these hard times. We cannot lose such a gem.
Honestly the most delicious, humble and heartfelt creation of food. We are always traveling, even at the moment. Being vegan and extremely fussy on where we eat and where our food comes from, we found this true gem. Most restaurant is honestly one of the best vegan restaurants we have eaten at (and we have eaten more then we can count) all over the world. This is by far the best restaurant we had only discovered on our last trip to Prague and since then will not go anywhere else. On the top of that the owner on offer hand picked organic tea from all parts of Asia and each served with their own story. It is that good that since we found it we have not eaten out any where else. It’s a real treat when we visit Prague to enjoy a beautiful delicious meal and catch up with our new friend. Tomas, Candice Australia.
We visited the MIST for first time. The atmosphere is peacefuly amazing. It is a nice Buddhist vegan restaurant worth to visit. We ordered one of the best vegan ramen we have ever eaten. We can just recommend to you!!
This may be my favorite place in Prague. Really, I don’t understand how come there is not a line of people trying to get in. The atmosphere is amazing. I could spend a whole day there. We felt like we were at a dinner party at a friend’s house. Just felt really relaxing and comfortable. All the interiors are well planned and beautiful. The service was also of another level. When we were there, it was not busy, and the chef Ben was also our waiter. Very professional and explained the details of each dish. Everything is made from scratch and organic and vegetarian/vegan. I’m not a vegetarian (yet) but I could eat there every day. I had the lasagne and it was really really good. My friend had the tofu curry which was also tasty. If I were to recommend a few places in Prague, then this one would be on my top list.
New favourite spot in the neighbourhood! I appreciate the switch to vegan food; the atmosphere that transported right back to Asia. A thoughtful menu with carefully chosen ingredients. Can definitely recommend the Oolong tea, miso soup, and ramen. We will be back!
Fantastic restaurant with truly special food. Don't let the fact that the Chef has decided to follow his heart and become a solely vegetarian restaurant put you off eating here, as you will miss out on some of the best cuisine in Prague.
