The Basilica of St. Peter and Paul in Prague at Vyšehrad, was originally an early Romanesque basilica, has been repeatedly rebuilt throughout history, and was significantly influenced by Gothic in the time of Charles IV. and High Baroque in the early eighteenth century. Vyšehrad is an important religious and cultural monument. in Vyšehrad is also a beautiful place for nature walks
The Basilica of St Peter and St Paul is a neo-Gothic church in the ground of Vysehrad, and a beautiful example of Czech Gothic with beautiful and colourful walls and ceilings. The sacristy and the Chapel of Our Lady of the Ramparts are exceptional. There's and entrance fee for the church, but it's small and totally worth it. Inside, there are cards with a description and history of the church, which makes the visit so much more enjoyable.
It is small inside but very pretty.
Beautiful church well kept. It is surrounded by cemetery where famous people are buried such as Capek, Dvorak and others.Interior is also worth to visit. Restaurant and public restrooms near by.
Vyšehrad is such a beautiful place overall, but Cathedral is the center point of the compound. It's a lovely old cathedral. So enjoy!
