For my first ramen ever I chose Taiko as I’ve heard it’s the best ramen place in Prague. Well, I’m not an expert, but the food (both ramen and the dumplings) is surprisingly flat in taste, if you know what I mean \u200d️ Is it this bistro fault or is it like a ramen thing?

OMG, where should I start? We searched for the best ramen restaurant in Prague and found it. The staff is super friendly. The food is fantastic. The prices are reasonable! We were absolutely thrilled. The only thing I have to complain about is the soba noodles with ponzu. I would have liked to have the sauce in a bowl separately so you can dip the noodles the traditional way. But they serve it with the sauce under the noodles and you have to mix everything through or eat the upper noodles dry. On our first visit the broth has been a bit greasy. But it was full of flavours and umami. On our second visit the broth was less greasy but also a bit thinner. Delicious though! Nevertheless the food was simply delicious and the side dishes are available in good portions. The gyoza are absolutely oustanding and even surpass the gyoza at Takumi in Düsseldorf. Thanks, guys. Will come again!
Not a single worker in the restaurant made an attempt to wear a mask. At a time when masks are required indoors by threat of a fine, I find it concerning when they don’t even put it up to approach the customers. Makes you wonder what other health codes they ignore. The decor/ atmosphere was nice. Food was mediocre. There are other, much better ramen places in Prague. I won’t be back here.

By far one of the best ramen restaurants I've visited in Prague. The food looked great and was very tasty with great flavors! The service was great as well. The waitress was very nice and friendly to us, and our dog. The restaurant looks beautiful. Beautiful design. I really recommend this place if you love ramen and want to try something delicious in Žižkov.
Great service, very nice staff who will tell you a lot of things about the meals on the menu and last but not least absolutely delicious ramen and gyoza as well!
I ordered Taiko anti-ramen chicken and it was delicious, even though I didn’t expect to get deep fried chicken in the dish ( now I know what chicken karaage is). The ingredients were really fresh. Service was top as well. Definitely will be back to try other dishes.
