It is a kingdom for trains ! My 2 year old was very happy by just looking at moving trains. Kids are also able to experience how to operate train, tram, and bus. For younger kids, the kids corner is their paradise. Highly recommend this place, especially for rainy day.
Could stay a whole day here with my 4 year old. He absolutely loved it. I wish some things in the exhibit were cleaned/fancied up a bit, but it didn’t really matter much in the end...it would just make me come back more often. Into trains? This is a cannot miss.
We found it after searching for a while, it has a beautifull collection of working train models, a tram, a bus and a couple of train cabins where kids or even grownups can simulate conducting such a vehicle, large displays with actual rides filmed in front of the driver included. It also has an extensive toy collection, in some places there are buttons that let you interact with the exhibits, there are two play rooms, one on each floor, comfortable chairs where you can sit while your kid is visiting or playing if you are to tired to move around. Definitely an attraction you can put on Prague city tour for kids.
Absolutely amazing place, for everyone. Huge space with railway modeling and also cars, aircraft, boats.. My personal best experience during my stay in Prague.
Impressive sized model set of Prague in the lower level with day night cycle. More sets with some interactive elements on the upper floor. Very nice experience altogether. Also very child friendly, your kids are going to love it. Really worth visiting. Bonus: commemorative coin in a vending machine at the entrance so you'll remember years later.
Very interesting collection, including car models, Lego and oldy Arcade Games. Great place for families and geeks ;)
Great place for kids and adults. Czech Republic represented in railway road miniatures with action spots, where visitor can press button and see some extra action. Changing between day and night is present with street lights, lights in houses and car lights. Other collections of plastic, paper, wooden and metal models are present on side. There is a Prague interactive scale model located next to this site, free of charge.
