I'm from Japan, and I consider the food quality in this restaurant is very good. It's just as what you would expect to have in Japan, and it's packed with Japanese guests. What I like about this restaurant is that they serve food that tastes exactly like what you get in Japan. They added variety of food ranging from sushi to casual Japanese food. I go to dine at Katsura when I feel homesick, and it's fixed. I would recommend this restaurant, and recommend non-sushi dishes as I consider that's what they're good at.

Very good japanese cuisine. We tasted a meal called Chirashi Don (selection of raw fish on sushi rice) and it was absolutely delicious ️ The prices are high, but are definitely worth the quality of the food. The service does not speak much Czech nor English, only Japanese, but it is not a problem at all, we still got everything we wanted. The only minus is the interior design: the restaurant is located on 2nd underground floor of hotel Diplomat and you still feel a bit like you are in a basement. Some elements such as nicer lighting on the ceiling or more decorations in the space (not only the divisions) would help.

Great place to enjoy tasty Japanese meal, sushi and unique atmosphere. Why? Owner and chefs are Japanese guys! 70% of guests are Japanese too. Not coincidence, but mark of quality
It is so great that I am almost afraid that with all the good reviews, it will be even more full next time. Probably the best Japanese place in Prague and definitely the most authentic.
Truly Japanese restaurant. They have variety of fishes. A little expensive though, but it’s worth it
