I have visited and applied in this subsidiary of Czech Republic's Ministry of Interior several times now, and was always met with friendly attitude and supportive staff. Most of the times I lacked a document or two, or had a complication which only I was responsible for. And each time the workers, who are under a considerable load of work fatigue, provided me with a helpful advice or were compassionate and considerate. They helped me and answered all my questions to their best ability. In the 5 years I have been visiting them I had no bad experience with the MOI here.

This is the only MOI who speaks English. Operates fast, friendly employees and helpful personal, never overcrowded. .
I have been here several times and have always had a wonderful experience. Especially the guys from cabin 8 and cabin 10(Martin) are just awsome. I had missed an appointment to collect my card and went there early the next working day, they were very friendly, spoke English and welcomed me even though there was still 10mins left to open the facility.
Luckily, I do speak Czech, the working lady was really nice and helping, no complaints (:. At the same time the system where a FOREIGNER/international student/qualified worker-etc. can’t even make an appointment on their hotline in English to extend their visa is just bizarre, discriminating and inhumane. I hope this insane bureaucracy in the CR will disappear at some point. S pozdravem, Alice
If you’re unlucky, you get Window 1 (MARTIN) who is a young guy refusing to communicate. He has an attitude. I had him many times and I conclude that he is just miserable himself. Don’t worry! It’s not your problem! Wait until other his colleagues pass and ask for help, then you will be fine ;)
All the staff there are polite and helpful, except the dude from window 1.
They speak English nicely , everything is well organized , they respect to your time and very helpful staff
fast and on point
