For the average out-of-tower, this is a little out of the way, but it is worth the little effort (with Prague's excellent transit system to visit). On my first visit, I was hungry and tried at least four of their cakes/Tortes and all were excellent. My recent trip only afforded one visit and I tried just two cakes - one new to me and the other a re-sample. Once again, I can report that they were great. Now, I am a cake person, so I have not tried the many other pastries that they offer. I wish they were more conviently located ( OK, I discover all too late, that they have a mini location in u Novaku). Visit this place!
Good cakes and a huge selection. Not the coziest place to sit at but the cakes are tasty
Huge choice of sweet cakes and desserts. The interior isn’t very nice, toilets are smelly and old. I get it, it’s an old cafe with quite some history, but these things didn’t really add up to a good feeling. Cakes look nice but they are a little dry, although the taste is alright. Staff were slow and unfriendly. Maybe just a bad day? We’ll try it again sometime to find out.
Wow. Absolutely amazing cakes, torts, and pastries. I was blown away by the quality and attention to detail. I had a pistachio creme filled dessert which was just lovely. Service was fine and the seating area small. it's not a place to hang out and linger but it's really worth going.
They make lovely cakes here. You can pretty much ask them to make any design and they will execute it perfectly. Case in point, we wanted a DragonBall cake and we got an amazingly decorated cake.
