Lovely and helpful staff that goes well out of their way of accommodating even strange requests, low key environment, despite the high number of children calm place to sleep early for a toddler, just professional and helpful, right next to a ski slope perfect for children learning. The resident ski school staff also deserves a mention, their work with children and ability to flexibly adjust is admirable. We had Kaja as our teacher and our little one went from panic fear of ski boots to daily requests to see her again on the slope (we are way gone back in the city....).

Good hotel. Very friendly staff. In general it is good. Pluses: perfect location, idyllic nature, good parking and playground for kids. Dinner was local, very good, breakfast was ok. Conclusion: good for a short stay, lots of positive emotions, friendly reception.

We had a great time at Hotel Starly Mlyn. We visited as a family with 1 child of 1.5 years old. Entering the room the baby coth was already there. The room was very clean, but maybe a bit out of date (which was no problem for us). There were two big closets for our clothes. There was a flatscreen in the room. The bathroom was quite small, although the shower itself was spacious. Towels were changed each 4 days, garbage bin each day. The bed was okay, but we already slept better ;-). It was Jan who checked us in. He's a warm personality and no request is too much for him. We felt very welcome. He gave us a lot of advice according to walking trips and renting a mountainbike. The hotel offers a lot of entertainment for kids. Inside you have a small playing area (with a slide, a childrens' bench, toys and little bikes or cars). Outside you can find a wooden playground (with two swings, a little house and again a slide). There is also a sandbox (which our son did not use as we saw a dog peeing in it the first day :-)). A large trampoline, a little playhouse, a nice swimming pool and outside shower make it a paradise for kids. Breakfast was very nice and we were served by a very friendly lady. Dinner was tasty (soup, main course, extra vegetables and dessert), especially when you know the cost ( 7/ meal)! The restaurant of the hotel offers a lot of nice meals as well. Again you are served by a kind woman. Once a week there's a barbecue outside. As our son went to bed before 8 P.M., it happened that there were still people carting outside, which can get a bit noisy in the room. It stops early, so as an adult it won't bother you. We will certainly recommend this hotel and we might go back for a skiing trip!
