We had a fantastic tour with a very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable guide. The library is so impressive and stunning and I personally enjoyed the smell of old books, call me a weirdo The tours aren't rushed and after climbing the endless stairs of the tower you are rewarded with a breathtaking view over Prague. Special thanks to our lovely tour guide who took my mum up with the lift as she has a damaged foot and would've missed it if it wasn't for him.

It was great to see the Baroque library. It’s absolutely beautiful. The view from the top is even better though! My guide (Danek? I may remember wrong) was so enthusiastic and made learning so fun. The meridian room was interesting too. Even if you go for the views alone, it’s absolutely worth it.

We really wanted to visit this place, so we went for it even though there was only a guided tour available ( you can’t go visit on your own) the ticket was 300 Kc/ pers and the tour-guide( a young lady) spoke English which was grea! The not so great was the fact that she wasn’t having a good day and she kinda took it out on some older and non English speakers ( she was quite impolite) . The other thing that wasn’t very appealing was the rush she did the tour with. Me and my husband didn’t get the chance to enjoy the place . All in all, I wouldn’t recommend this tour because it is not worth it. The beautiful library in the pictures it’s not actually open for visitors. There is a small balcony from where you can look at it and that’s pretty much it.

Amazing place, well worth visiting both for the library (what a privilege must have been for the students 200 years ago) and the observation deck on top of the tower. Guided tour is very informative, worth it 100%.

Tour was very nice, our guide was so kind. The smell of library blew me away. And I met with an amazing girl there, I hope I never loose her ️

For an old town Praha attraction this place is hard to beat. Entry price was around 11 which is good value for what you get. The tours are approximately every 30 minutes and can be bought in advance to secure a time convenient for your visit. We bought on the spot and did not have to wait at all. The guide is excellent and clearly very knowledgeable on the history of the building. The highlight of this tour is the baroque library which was simply stunning. There are in the region of 6,000 books in this library which is pretty mind-blowing. Unfortunately you are not permitted to actually walk through the library but when it was explained why, it made sense. The tour continues and shows the tools used to measure time and some astronomy equipment. It ends in the tower which gives some pretty amazing views of central Prague. Well worth a visit. Amongst all the tacky shops and business, this place was a real gem.

We had a good time. The food was great, we just had some burgers though. The trains bringing out our food and beer was awesome. It was a good time. If you're in Prague it's worth a stop.
