Quite a lot of meaning behind this seemingly bizarre bronze statue. Best to read up on it or take a tour guide. Otherwise if you're in the Jewish quarters its worth having a look.

This monument to Franz Kafka depicts the man riding on the shoulders of a faceless and almost formless ethereal individual. The scene is a reference to the second chapter of \Description of a Struggle\, where the protagonist of the story leaps onto the shoulders of his acquaintance and begins riding his like a horse. Utterly surreal and that's probably what makes this sculpture so fun. The sculpture is a little off the main tourist circuit in Prague in the Old Jewish district, but it's worth a look if you have time.
Here lies the sculpture of the famous writer Kafka. Before visiting the sculpture we were resting at the round-about and had tonne of fun watching photographing and video-graphing the traffic. There were horse carriages, vintage cars and even a people cycled beer wagon moving around.
Jewish Quarter is definitely worth exploring. Get a good guide to explain the history of the quarter. I think I'm going to start reading Kafkavs English works if I can find a copy.

Very interesting monument for Franz Kafka. Made from his own description from his stories. It is location is very easy to find. However, it may get crowded with tourist groups so sometimes it is not easy to get close to or take pictures of it.
Another nice sculpture in Prague. I like that there are many memorials, sculptures, and statues in Prague.
