Both David and Takeshi are great glassblowers who'll try to make your vision a reality. It's not possible to do everything from glass, especially in one person, but you can make pint, vase, flower or bowl easily. Great experience! It's better to make a reservation though, it's pretty busy sometimes.
Great experience do not miss. Highly recommended. We visited Pragl with my partner to make two beer glasses. The staff was very friendly and had a lovely day. The free beer made the experience even better in a chill out and super friendly atmosphere. The glass blower David was really good and the beer glasses were exactly as we design them on the white board.
We had a great time making a beer mug each, David was friendly & engaging - and incredibly patient! This is a unique experience that is fascinating for glass lovers and fun for all ages (when we went back to pick up our mugs there was a youngster making a Christmas snowman with his whole family joining in with design ideas) All this and free 'glassblowers'beer! Highly recommend
We had so much fun making our own beer glasses. From my experience, you just have to walk in and wait for your turn. I came in a bit early (11am) and had to wait a little for the glass to be at the right temperature, so I had a beer and drew out ideas. Dav is a great teacher and the rest of the staff was very friendly and helpful. highly recommend this place :)
Made a beautiful vase here with some really cool teachers. They let you make anything you want and guide you through the process. Best experience in Prague so far! Free beers while you work and the entire thing for only 600 czc.
Was nice experience making a glass cup and our master was very kind. It took a good thirty minutes to complete one project. It was really hot inside the workshop but they offered free beer which really nice. The reason I give only three stars is because they broke our reservations. We had booked the workshop at 1pm two days in advance, but when we arrived on time for the workshop, we had to wait outside for more than 40 minutes. The person who looked like the manager of the place had politely asked us to wait for about 20 minutes due to some technical issues, which was all good, but he was nowhere to be found when that 20 minutes were up. Nobody else seemed to know that we were there for the workshop, so we had to find our ways inside by ourselves and let them know they were already 40 minutes late....! We ended up running back to the station to catch a train we had booked earlier which was not fun :( If not for the reservation issues, the experience itself was very unique and nice.
We stumbled upon this and it was our favorite experience in Prague. I made my husband a beer mug while he sat and drank the free beer! Ha! Our train left before we could pick up the mug on the following day, something we were not told. We left our address and I really hope that it arrives! UPDATE: Here we are months later with no beer mug. So I have changed from 5 stars to 2.
