A Prague must-see! This is one of the most ornately beautiful places of worship I’ve ever had the privilege to visit. There is a wealth of historical data and objects, all carefully curated. The carvings and hand-painted details are exquisite, even by the standards of lovely Prague. If you do a tour of the synagogues in the Jewish Quarter, make this your last stop!

The best synagogue we have been in Prague. Deserves a visit. And of course, the nationality name of the place is nice :-)) Is a bit dark for mobile pictures, but you can get nice pics if you are handy enough
Of all the synagogues in Old Town Prague, this is definately the best and most beautiful. Great for the photographer but please ready and take notice of the exhibition. The Jewish Quarter is a great way to spend a morning and an opportunity to learn more about the Jewish history.
A Moorish-style synagogue, one of the most beautiful synagogues, was built in 1868. It is a church, a museum, and a concert hall. Listen to the concert and you can visit the exhibition by the way. Excellent sound design, no need for any sound reinforcement equipment.
Synagogue which is more vibrant and colourful. Amazing place with well kept history
Absolutely stunning place. The synagogue is small but the entire interior is beautifully decorated. Apparently it took three years to carve and paint it all. The second story has a small exhibition with items made of silver that are used in Jewish celebrations and festivities. The galleries of the synagogue exhibit items and descriptions of the history of Jewish people in the Czech Republic (and all the other historic iterations of it) generally and Prague more specifically.
Closed all times but the guie took us here without any explanation and its. entrance direction also ambiguous! The other door also boarded up. Now, I find that the synagogue is actually closed till late 2020, but they posted it in the side way, but not at the door. Don't bother to come up to waste 20 minutes in the cold winter. Still, the visitors are circling around looking for the entrance.
Stunning architecture and decoration accessible by purchasing a ticket to the Jewish Museum which also takes you through the cemetery and other Synagogues. It is well worth the time to visit and I am so glad I stumbled across it.
