Great ice skating rink tucked away behind the monastery. Fine for families and kids. Inexpensive, although you do have to leave a returnable deposit for borrowed skates (500 Kč). It doesn't get too busy but would recommend getting there before 10 .a.m. – you'll then have plenty of room, with very few people on the ice. There are light snacks available, plus coffee, hot chocolate, etc (unfortunately served in unecological styrofoam cups). There are toilets on site, clean and free of charge.

Great little ice rink just off the tourist path. 120kc to skate with rented skates (plus boot deposit) 40kc for gluwein/hot chocolate. Fantastic value and never too busy. Nice bathrooms too!

Fantastic Prague 1 outdoor ice rink. Hardly any people but get there early as part of the rink is melted by 12pm & therefore only half the space available. Opens 8am so get your skates on!

This is an outdoors rink operating from November-December until the beginning of Spring. It is run by an ex-NHL player. The rink itself is small, so usually 4 vs. 4 pick up games are played on a Saturday morning. Ice itself is poor quality - not smooth, with leaves and other detritus on the surface as one would expect. People change outdoors, or in a tiny cabin. It is worth going to once, to have the experience of playing hockey with random Czech people, but it is not worth repeating the experience.

A really nice place to start, practice and show off your skills

A well managed place for casual ice scating in the heart of Prague.

Nice public place for sport. In winter there is a big ice skating area, which is unfortunatelly mostely crowdy.

Schools from Prague 1 have it for free, just rent ice skates for 50 Kč
