The Museum of Fire Protection of the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic can be found in Zbiroh. Unique historical exhibits from the mid-18th century to the 1930s will be presented here. The fire protection exhibition allows visitors to look into the history of the emergence and development of voluntary and professional fire protection. The main objective of the exposition is to preserve and bring information about the mission, organization and activities of professional and volunteer firefighters in individual periods of development of the Czech lands. The area of \u200b\u200b4500 square meters with almost 120 pieces of large technology is dedicated to the history of fire protection. The only museum of professional firefighters in the Czech Republic offers historical and modern firefighting equipment and equipment from the mid-18th century. The oldest exhibit is a hand-held fire extinguisher from 1746, and the Czermack steam syringe from 1903 is also valuable. The SPOT 55 fire tank, designed to deal with ground fires in difficult terrain, is also unique. Lovers of firefighting equipment can also look forward to technical emergency vehicles, elevation equipment and tanks. There is also installed the first helicopter MI-2, which flew for the integrated rescue system. The 1938 Ford Ladder, the 1942 Henschel Airport Special, the Russian Zil, the Dennis American and the 1942 German Henschel Syringe are also noteworthy.
