Beautiful zoo. Nicely organised and with attention to detail - original fountains, sculptures as well as eating stalls and restaurants (even the bins are painted according to the different habitat and cultural specifics of individual continents). The huge project for African animals is really amazing - the one currently open is for African elefants. And you can always have some fun with Oman cownose rays which you can pat, caress and feed. The fairy tale-like castle is wonderful and full of inventions of the time. Maybe one of you may even play the piano for the other visitors during the tour. Fully recommend!

What a wonderful place. A really good zoo, you can easily spend the whole day here. Would recommend to arrive early (before 9am) to grab a free parking spot. The Yucatan greenhouse was incredible. The entrance fee is quite cheap, considering all that you can see here... would also recommend to do the guided tour of the chateau, it’s a lovely place. It’s also a very pretty botanical garden/park.
This is the best Zoo in the Czech Republic. You can be really close to animals and you can even touch some! Plus you can get inside the Chateau which is also really nice. We had food next to giraffes and it was quick, tasty and not so expensive. Pro tip, go to parking P5 or P6(free parking) or pay 80 Kč for other places. Over all really recommended this to visit.
One of the better zoos I have visited. Beautiful surroundings, animals appear well cared for. One star removed as following the ecommended\ path will cause you to miss many animals. Make sure to take a map at the gate
What I like about the ZOO Lešná is that despite its long history (I visited this place many times as a kid), they have completely changed the \old-zoo\ approach long time ago. The priority now is not to put the animals to iron cages but to enable the visitor to get as close the animals as possible in more free environment. I also like the idea of dividing the place into different continents. Most of all our kids liked petting the numbfish. Definitely worth visiting.

Amazing place Quite large, be prepare to spend almost all day if you would like to make a nice walk and see and enjoy everything It's a popular place, so it's often very overcrowded, it's better to avoid weekends and holidays. Thumb up for a coffee at Kefa bar in Ethiopian area, really delicious Unfortunately the choice of food and drink in general is terrible - expensive junk food... better to bring your own
Absolutely love this place. In my opinion this is best ZOO in Czech Republic.
