We ordered a kiln (Kittec CB 80 S Eco) including furniture and electronics for delivery to Sweden. Even including the transport of a standard EU pallet across half of Europe (290 EUR incl. taxes) this was among the cheapest offers available for the purchase. The Kittec kilns are manufactured in the Czech Republic so the total shipping costs would probably not be much different if we purchased from a local retailer. We discussed our purchase and placed the order entirely by email contact with the Artik Studio staff who were friendly and answered all our questions clearly and promptly in English. They provided useful information about the product and also helped us locate an English language manual. The purchase Terms & Conditions are available only in Czech, but based on a Google Translate and some clarifying questions by email we find nothing extraordinary about them. The standard warranty is 2 years, but for Kittec kilns it is 3 years. An advance payment of 30% was required to place the order and the remaining 70% was paid just before they dispatched it from the Czech Republic (both parts by direct bank transfer). The goods were well packaged and arrived to our door without any visible damage. The delivery was delayed by a couple of days in Poland, probably due to a mistake by the shipping company, but apart from this minor hiccup the whole process was very smooth. The kiln itself looks great, although we have not had time to test it yet. So far, we are very happy with the purchase from Artik Studio.
Fantastic shop! Buying the ceramic kiln on-line seemed to me a big deal, but I received so much help and advice that everything went very smooth. My kiln was sent to Greece with no problem, it arrived in time and very safely packed. Also the price was very competitive! I am very satisfied with my purchase, thank you!!!
