It was interesting visit for me. Plenty of different animal's . Zoo is located on one large hill ( the South slope of the hill behind Elba river is dedicate to Zoo). It is 2 entrances one from down side and one from top side. Unfortunayely place for parking and to find both entrances are not designated well. Zoo is well maintained and equipped. I was surprised by number of aquariums and terrariums with wide variety of spieces.

very nice zoo, located on a side of a mountain. lots of playgrounds for kids and nice animal shows. the entrance doesn't do the zoo justice. it gets much better when you entered it.
surprisingly large. very inexpensive. great place to walk your dog.

Nice little zoo. As an American it was a pleasant surprise they have a lot of stuff in English. We bought season passes and intend to use them heavily. In the summer we like to start at the top of the zoo and work down hill but in November they only have the main bottom entrance open. They have enough indoor places that even in the fall it's been great to go and not be in the cold the entire time. Great zoo!
Lovely zoo with a lot of animals. All the \classic\ is there - elephant, rhino, giraffes, zebras, a lot of apes, lions, tiger, cheetah, leopards, etc. It's located on a mountain hill and has two entrances - one on top of the mountain, another is at the bottom. The one from the bottom is not that easily discoverable using navigators - two where leading me to pass the parking by, so be attentive.
It's a great possibility for families with kids, see animals, learn new things, and play in number of playgrounds around the park. There are two restaurants and a few kiosks so you can easily spend whole day! It might not be in top shape, the walks and walls could use some maintenance but still it's great fun. 120CZK for adult, 60CZK for kids, elderly and dogs. Dogs are not allowed inside pavilions and near big cats and bears.
Great variety of animals that appear well-looked after. Some areas are under construction and in disrepair. Not sure what happened to the penguins, the pool was a green soup.
