Good for kids
No wheelchair-accessible entrance
Fantastic pice of medieval architecture. You can even visit the tower on weekends with fantastic views from the top. Rest is open whole year everyday. The access is little bit tricky as you walk through forest path but nothing extra demanding.

This is a beautiful old castle in a magical woods where all travellers are made to feel welcome
very nice ruin. when we visited a kids camp was setup in side :) make sure to watch smaller kids, there are holes and areas that are really dangerous to smaller kids (\u003c6)
Beautiful place to walk, entrance to the castle is free but you can make a small donation if you like as this goes to the upkeep and renovation of the Castle.
One of the most beautiful ruins I know of. It is a bit stashed away place, but seems like local turists have already discovered it. It is a perfect spot for a sleepover.
Many interesting ( read... COULD be dangerous for the little ones!) options ..but that is the beauty of a non-profit Disney real place!!
Nice castle inside forests
Helfenburk is the ruins of a castle situated in a beautiful nature. The tower is accessible during the day if the weather is good and the castle lord is present. There is a fireplace in the yard - take some sausages for roasting :) The staff also sells postcards and stickers with the pictures of the castle for a symbolic price. I recommend to visit it when the weather is good, as the view from the tower is more enjoyable.
