Always worth visiting for a couple hours on a night in Prague - pay the 300kn, grab a tea or mulled wine, watch the band play and relax. It's more of a speakeasy style (you sit and listen, you don't come for a conversation!) but for me it's one of the best places to wrap up an evening in the city.
Must visit place at night in Prague. I never forget to visit this live Jazz bar whenever I go to Prague! Music is always good. And they made the cave looking place so the high ceiling over the head. And this cave looking high ceiling made the tunes more beautiful. The sounds gets impactive in this place! Good to have music and a drink ;) cheers
Great music. Tiny basement venue. No more than 50 seats, I think. There's a 250 Kr. cover charge, but there was no drink minimum. Loved the atmosphere.

Fantastic place, great acoustic, the Emil Viklický Trio were amazing! The price for a three-hour show of such quality is a bargain, plus the drinks are very cheap. Highly recommended!
Think of a typical 20s movie. You go down stairs, open a heavy metal door and you enter a basement. This place has it all. You pay 250 Ckz (10 euro) to enter this beautiful place. The drinks and the food is very cheap! We didn't have a reservation, but we arrived at 19.00 what made it easy to get a table. If you don't want t get there this early, I highly recommend making a reservation!! Also keep in mind that the area around it is car-free. In my opinion, it is the best jazzbar in town!
