I made a beautiful tour from Prague along rivers to Karlstejn castle in February. On the way we saw muskrats and in Karlstejn the guide showed me the best place to look to the castle. After that I had enough time to visit the castle before I went home by train. Thank you, Ada, for this great and interesting day!

The must use bike tour firm for CZ. Just finished one of the tours and you can be confident in Vlastimil and his team to take care of your plans. We received good bikes, transportation was reliable, and even many hotels are owned by AVE which helps to coordinate your trip especially around Prague. We used AVE tours to plan our recent cycle holiday, from Cesky Krumlov to Prague. Although AVE have a 6-day such holiday, we wanted a longer time in the area, without cycling on every day. I put my rough plans to Vlasta, at AVE, and without problem, it was all arranged. I had several questions, about the tour itself, and about things to do on our 'off days', and he was extremely helpful. It is obviously better to go through a local company for these things, as they are presumably more in touch, and you are not paying for a 'middleman' in the UK. Our holiday, in mid September, was excellent; varied hotels/pensions, good & varied route, and best of all, very good weather! Only one hotel let us down, and AVE are hopefully looking into this matter. On top of that, food and wine are so much less expensive than in the UK! AVE also arrange 'add-ons' before/after the main part of the tour, so just ask them what you would like to do. We are certainly thinking of doing their Prague to Dresden trip next year, if we are still fit enough. I would highly recommend them.
