N/A
The Žižkov Tunnel , also known as the Karlín Tunnel , is a pedestrian and bicycle tunnel under the Vítkov Hill in Prague, connecting Karlín with Žižkov. It was inaugurated on 21st April 1951 and finished 19th or 21st December 1953 (there are some uncertainties). Originally, the Žižkov tunnel was also designed as an anti-aircraft shelter. The tunnel length is 303 m, width 4.4 to 4.8 m, maximum height 3.40 m, elevation 28.89 m with an average climb of 8.1%. The New Tunnel railway tunnels are only 6 meters away from the rock. The tunnel was supposed to be completed with a branch for road vehicles, but it was never realized.

Nice pedestrian tunnel. Does not stink.
