Charming little museum on 3 levels. The exhibition will bring you back in time to the early decades of the 1900, when furniture and ornaments were full of edges and corners. Sofas and chairs looked a strange mixture of retro-futurism and then off you go to the local Orient cafe, where you can enjoy cakes in the shape of a proper cubist sculpture.

If your into visiting a museum then the cubist museum is worth a look set over two floor with the ground floor doing amazing cakes and drinks.

Very interesting exhibition in a building which is one of the examples of Czech cubist architecture

Czech Cubism - A very unique museum of fine arts, applied arts and architecture. The collection is housed in the first cubist building in Prague. It was designed by Josef Gocar and was once used as a shopping mall for women during the turn of the century. Helpful Hints: The museum offers discounts to the museum store and the Grand Cafe Orient. Also, check out the interior stairway for amazing photos.

I didn't realize the house of the black Madonna was a museum for cubism but I was pleasantly surprised! The museum is very quaint and has a few levels. It was interesting to learn about Czech Style. The tickets were sold in the first level when you first walk in the office. I don't know if it was necessarily worth it but if you're into art and history I think it would be worth seeing. The restaurant within the museum had a discount because we bought the tickets but it wasn't amazing and the service wasn't great. Thanks for experience though!

Not one of my favourite place to have coffee and cake. I'm not sure about it representing cubism in the decorations. However we did enjoy a Czech patisserie which was very, very nice. It has a custard filling, brilliant.
