They have moved their place inside Arkady to the first floor. The shop looks similar and it has good offer of books. I would say one of the best in Prague.

Great book shop with good choice: they have lots of books in Czech and some books in English. You can also find nice stylish-looking stationery. It’s a good place to buy a small present for a colleague or acquaintance.

This bookshop has quite a good range of English books, I have bought quite a few over the years. BUT the service is appalling. Yesterday, I waited patiently with no-one else in the queue. After about 5 minutes other people joined the queue. There was only one cashier. After another 2 minutes another till was opened and the cashier pointedly asked the others BEHIND me to be served. Another example of the very poor service in Czech Republic. I worked in retail for 45 years. I will never put foot in this store again. Bad service--NO service.

Staff never to be found, slow service at the register. Last time the lady ignored me for 10 minutes, I just left the books and decided to bring my business elsewhere.
