Good hot dog. Fish burger should be avoided. Haddock was OK but a bit too oily so perhaps not up to British standards. Peas will never be mushy enough for a true Brit. However, beer selection is excellent although it's hard to imagine anyone needs British beer in Prague. Went for a banana bread beer which was great for a sunny lunchtime! Prices higher than average but altogether not bad.

This restaurant is nicely decorated. Too bad that's about the most positive thing there is to say about Fish and Chips. Staff was unhelpful and the food mediocre at best. Of course we ordered fish and chips - the both kinds they offer. The fish was wet and without taste, the chips were not baked enough. Plus, I was surprised to have to pay extra for the chips.
Main problem when we had dinner here, was the staff. Waiter was annoyed and he looked that we were bothering him. Also we saw the scene when six girls arrived and there was table only for four, but other tables, except ours, were free. I don't know why, but he didn't push two tables together, so two girls had left. Food was good (we ordered two fish and chips from different fishes) but I think it is overpriced. I think we won't go back ever, what is a pity because interior looks stylish and has an atmosphere.
We all had the fish and chips and we were all satisfied by the end of our meal. The only thing I'd point out is if you get the deep fried Mars bar, ask to have it without the icing sugar. It's so sweet already that it's really just overkill.
As a vegetarian I am a bit biased but I just got the mashed potatoes and a raspberry-mint lemonade. The lemonade tasted watery and I didn't detect mint. The mashed potatoes were very creamy and tasty, I would recommend them! They had a vegetarian burger as a special of the day but I didn't try it. My friend got the mashed potatoes and beer-battered calamari, she really liked both but of course felt a little gross from the fried food after.
This is definitely worth a visit: delicious / classic fish and chips. The servers spoke English and were very hospitable. The soup of the day was "pumpkin with prawns and sweet chili" and we ordered it with the waitress's recommendation. It was extremely delicious, and served with a perfect, dense piece of focaccia bread. We had to wait about 25 minutes from the arrival of the soup to the arrival of our fish and chips, which surprised us since there were only two other tables being served. We got the large order of cod, one beer-battered and one herb/garlic-battered but there was only a slight difference in those flavors. Regular chips (or French Fries as Americans say), and the mushy peas that come with the meal are actually palatable. The saffron dipping sauce was very tasty but priced a little high. Our total was 415 kc (16.6 ) and we were very happy with the overall experience :)
Very good fish and chips, eat in or takeaway. Thick batter (your choice of style), really good chips, buttery mushy peas, and a good range of fresh sauces and condiments. When taking away it's packed up perfectly.
A very good place. The food is stunning. The service awesome. I highly recommend.
