The Global Arena Research Centre (GARC) aims to combine pioneering ways of analysing global-scale data on flows, interactions, and political and regulatory frameworks. More specifically, the scientific mission of the GARC is to fundamentally enhance, if not alter, our understanding of global and international processes and flows by utilizing an interdisciplinary approach to the study of the global arena (the new research school of socio-technical studies). The centre will serve as a hub that links innovative research institutions, governments, international organizations and corporate partners.
