Just... It should be closed because it's been a couple of years that the place is infested by bedbugs and they can't get rid of them... And sometimes they don't try hard enough to get rid of them. But even without bedbugs, this wouldn't be a nice place to stay. People working here 90% of times doesn't speak English at all, a problem in a dormitory where 20% of people are Erasmus students, plus the full time students coming from abroad Many times the receptionist use this communication impossibility to use their power as they want (ex: washing machines are available 24/7 according to the contract bu they just won't give you the keys after 9 pm) If you are locked outside your room because of your roommate and they have copy of the key, they won't help you except if you show them the document proving that you live here... Document that often is in your room. (our simple idea is: you come with me, open the door and if I show the document that proves that is my room everything is solved, otherwise that is not my room you can lock it again) they just don't care of people living there. Almost all the rooms of Erasmus students are double and the single ones are privilege only for few... The problem is that double rooms are not bigger so they can host two people, they have the SAME SIZE, only with two beds, two desks, two wardrobes... You can see that just there is not enough space for living. Also bathrooms are... Peculiar: ugly, cold (the shower room has a radiator but it doesn't work) and many others lovely adjectives to describe it We were also told by the head of the dormitory not to eat in the kitchens (which are few of the common areas) but anyone in our room... so that our room would smell bad (often windows can't be opened) and sounds could be reduced (because there's a strict policy of zero noise after 10 pm. But most of Spanish guys just have dinner after 10 and if they did it together... It couldn't be accepted by the central administration)

I was living there 10 years ago...and just passing by... reconstruction is amazing... It looks like a brand new non communist dormitory.

It's OK for students. The people made the place nice. Otherwise, I didn't like the shared bathrooms and kitchen.

If you want to live in the jungle, this is your place. Cheap rent, mediocre installations, and a stay full of surprises. A really Czech experience, the personal doesn't speak English, and they won't even try to understand you. I'm serious, you won't know what's living here until you come here and stay for some time

The shared bathrooms (boys and girls) are a bit of a problem but overall it's a clean, affordable place

If you want to travel back to communist times in Czech Republic, you're at the right place. Shared kitchen for more than 20 people; shared bathroom and showers for more than 20 people. In this place privacy shines for it's absence. The only positive things are the two cats in the reception of Block 3 and it's price

It is really old fashion dormitory, but they are trying to renovate it. But I had really great time in there. At first is everybody shocked, but you will get use to it, eventually you start to like this place :-) Btw you will need earplugs. And toilets are really creepy.
