Carlsbad International School (CIS) provided a high level learning experience with family style boarding. Our daughter is a better person academically and emotionally having graduated from CIS. CIS' International Baccalaureate Diploma Program is rigorous. It was appropriately challenging and prepared her for University and beyond. She has made life-long friends from around the world by attending CIS.The staff was amazing! Over her three years at the school, she certainly had conflict with others. She was supported by teachers, dorm staff, and fellow students. This helped her learn to deal with conflict constructively. She has a healthier approach to others because of this experience. To top all of this off, the campus is gorgeous in a picturesque, safe part of the world. From this central Europe location, they had significant travel opportunities. Through these visits, she learned history and customs from many cultures. We consider ourselves blessed to have had our daughter be a part of CIS.

Why does the director of the school what’s to speed to my parents 4 times a month?
I'm a student currently studying at this school, and have also been to it's summer camp. First off, I would like to say that the teachers at this school are the best that I have ever had. I have been to many International schools all around the world, ranging from India to South Korea, and ALL of the teachers at this school are amazing, and very helping. They really care about the students here. The facilities at this school are also really good. Although the campus is small, there is access to tennis, badminton, basketball, archery, air rifle, cooking and many, many more. This school also has THE BEST food of any school ever. I can't imagine any school with food better than here. It's bette than many restaurants i've been to. :D
My nephew recently graduated from CIS. Although there’s always room for improvement, this was a very pleasant and safe environment, where he grew both as a person and student. He met people from all over the world with different cultures, had to deal with new situations living alone for the first time, studied hard when necessary, played several sports, and even learned new a language. Some of his teachers were not just that but also mentors in a way. Ultimately I believe that what defines a boarding school experience the most, is the student’s own personality and traits as well as the choices he/she makes during this time, based on the possibilities and opportunities that the school can offer. Overall, he (and we) had a good, enriching experience with CIS and for this we are grateful.
No, sounds too strict. IDK. The owner does not need to anwser me like that. such nonsense omg
First of all, my fried has been studying here for two years and her mental state was completely destroyed by boarding "caring" at CIS. Second of all, this school is considers themselves as an International School. For real, this school didn't accredite by the Council of International Schools. So, their diploma actually means nothing. In the conclusion, I'd say that they are really not ready to be a premium boarding school. Probably, in the couple of years they'll better, but definitely not now.
Go away from here, don’t even google this school again, just forget about it, erase it from your mind.
The school is not very nice, it is too expansive and a quality of living here is low. Living in a small room with 3 other girls, when there is not even enough air to breathe won’t cost that much
