This place is the location of the assassination of Reinhardt Heydrich during WW2. However, the site has not been preserved unfortunately, it is now the site of a motorway. If you are interested in the history then you should pay a visit out of respect for the human cost involved. RIP Lidice.

As others have said, it can be difficult to get to, but trams 3, 10, 24 all stop within a few hundred yards. Then there is a Subway to get you through safely The subway itself has artwork relevant to the assassination, but also silhouette images of those who lost their lives Well worth a visit
In 1942, at this memorial site, the high ranking SS Officer Reinhard Heydrich was attacked by Jan Kubiš and Jozef Gabčík. He died a few days later in the hospital. There is a large statue and an information board with photos. Unfortunately it was only in Czech language. If you are interested in WW2, it’s definitely worth to visit this place.
Prayers for those who made the ultimate sacrifice For their people and nation
I didn't know this memorial existed until I'd visited the museum at the Ss. Cyril and Methodius Church. I took the metro to Palmovka then walked using Google maps.. bit of a trek but there is a bus you can take. The monument is well and truly in the middle of busy highways. There's a subway with steps and ramp you can take to get to the monument.
Breathtaking touch of history.
Worth stopping by if you're interested in the story of the Heydrich assassination.
Cool place to take a picture and if you like history but not much here
