When we came here we where the only ones there. It's was an amazing visit, a lot of love has been put into the whole museum. The start is really great, but it's the second part that makes it feel like you're really back in the times of alchemists. Amazing and detailed explanation provided by a person that knows a lot about this place. And some fun little riddles to solve as well. Definitely recommend

I loved this and the story was so good. You start at the top in the atic and go all the way down. Lovely place and the lady that did the tour was very passionate about it which made it even more interesting.

Amazing place! It has a little tour through the tower. The guide was very friendly and answered all our questions. Must see in Prague

Fun little museum tucked away from the main tourist trail up to Prague castle. Tickets are purchased in the main office and can be used for the Alchemy museum house and the Ghosts and Legends museum not far away. The guided tour takes you up to the attic across the courtyard from the ticket office. The attic is not handicapped accessible. However, kids will love the climb as its reminiscent of ascending into a giant tree house. Once in the attic, the guide recounts the life and trials of the past owner. There are some very interesting tid bits of information given during the brief tour. Once back down on the ground, be sure to hit the bar in the building opposite the main ticket office for interesting ambience and off the wall drink concoctions!

A hidden gem! It's not a large place and it's more an exhibition than a museum but if you have an interest in alchemy, early chemistry, and Magick then this is a treat. Take your time to try all the hands on activities in the first part of the exhibition. And read the information panels for some fascinating stories and legends about the alchemists of Prague. Then the second part will take you up a tall circular set of stairs, up up up the tower to the laboratory exhibition of John Dee and Edward Kelly. Again, take your time to read the books in their various languages. Photography is permitted and the staff were very accommodating. I was alone on the 'tour' but not rushed along at all.

Had a nice time here! Nothing too extreme — just a small little tour — but the employees were all very friendly and knowledgeable. Ultimately a better place for kids than adults, but a lovely spot nonetheless :)

Is it worth the 11 euro price? Not in my opinion. You can do the whole tour in 20 minutes. Still neat however if you're willing to spend it, staff was nice, and not crowded.

Small but quiet museums. It luks like installation of alchemy laboratory. Nice cocktail in the cafe
