I was looking forward to a proper English breakfast, so I ordered a large one for 169Kc. Have to say I left disappointed. No hash browns, no black pudding, no toast bread or any other bread, no ketchup or brown sauce (if you ask you get the sauces tho). Beans were really bad. (cheap/low quality). Bacon average, only 2slices. 3 sausages were ok, eggs were good. Not for anybody who’s actually had a good English breakfast in the UK. Pretty expensive for what you get. Might come back to try their fish..

I love this place! The food is good, cheap and the staff is super! I recommand it! You should try the fries... My opinion these are the best in Czech republic!

When I have a hankering for authentic fish & chips, this is the plaice I go. The staff a super friendly (remembering my exact order after some 6 months!), and the portions are, if anything, over-generous for my liking - or for my diet, anyway. The chips are freshly cooked and are better than those from my local chippy back home if I'm being honest. The owner has done a great job of importing the whole chip shop experience to Prague, with nice touches like sarson's vinegar, mushy peas, pukka pies, and pickled eggs etc.. The only thing missing (imho) – and this may be a regional thing – is bread and butter. For me, the mighty chip butty is the the best part of having fish and chips, and with M&S now selling fresh, English bread, it'd be great to see it on the menu (or is this just a northern thing?). Recommended.

I know this place so good. Lovely foods. Especially, the main dish as fish&chips. But everybody can find theirs on the backboard menu. Fish, meat, salads, english meat pies, homemade chips, fish&meat burgers and menu for the kids. Talkative and very friendly staff. Many customers I wish you.w

nothing to write home about. fried fish with fried fries.. postmix coke is watered down a lot and for some reason they charged me for large one when i got small.. all in all, nothing worth recommending. If you are brit and longing for home then perhaps.. OK, went with three stars before i got the attempt at burger. one star now. don't go there.

This is a no-frills place. The fish and chips are pretty authentic, although the fish itself doesn't quite come up to the standard you'd get in most UK takeaways. No complaints about the chips and mushy peas, though: they're first-class. Portions are big: the small menu of fish and chips is really enough for me. Has a few small tables inside, but the pavement seating is much more pleasant. They sell bottled beer, which is a bit pricey, but good.

This is the first time I’m writing a customer review. And the reason for that is my saddening experience with the shop. If you want to enjoy good f&c in there, save your money and go eat somewhere else. I ordered small fish&chips with mushy peas. What I got was a freshly fried fish covered in a layer of batter that made the fish look twice as large, although the fish itself was actually pretty small - not so nice. The chips were awfully soggy and didn’t taste fresh at all... And the mushy peas, wow, calling it mushy peas is an overstatement. A green liquid with pieces of peas only slightly resembling mushy peas is what I was served. I worked in the Deep Blue Restaurants (Surrey, UK) f&c chain so I kinda know how f&c should look and it is everything but what I experienced today.

Went to this restaurant for the first time today with my wife and daughter. Very quiet with only two other customers present. Member of staff was okay but had some trouble understanding Czech (my wife is Czech). Ordered the fish and chips. Waited an appropriate time for the food to arrive. Good size portion, fish was freshly cooked, but oh those chips. I had high expectations for this meal. Getting proper chip shop chips (really dislike fries) in CZ is almost impossible. The fish was very nice as was the batter it was cooked in. It made a change to just put salt and vinegar on the food. The chips were awful. Nothing like what I have in the UK. IMHO the chips were reheats. Dark in colour, soggy and flavour not so pleasant. I ate some but had to leave the rest. Freshly cooked chips are normally a delight but what I was served with was way below par. I would go back for the fish but not the chips. Left disappointed.
